TechCrunch got a sneak peek at SlideShare, a PowerPoint sharing system that allows you to upload presentations and then show them on any web browser. Crunch Gear describes as a YouTube of presentations, only with less kids putting Mentos into Diet Coke, which I found amusing
It allows the user to store Power Point documents (or any office documents) files on the web and use them within the browser window. No need to email the file to recipients, or carry a copy around on a USB drive. The option of being able to control permissions is amazing and this site is bound to take off.
Update I have just had a short play with Slideshare and I am quite impressed
