The above verse is from a Song called “If I were a Carpenter” which is a lovely song; I have three versions by the Four Tops, Johnny Cash and Bob Seger. Out of the three my favourite is the Four Tops version, kind of sweet.
Funnily enough it’s the name of the first episode for Auf Wiedersehen Pet
