When it comes to Springsteen Bootleg CDs there is a huge amount just do a quick search on Google or download a few ton of them from Backstreets Forum. Over the past week I have been checking what’s on offer, the buzz is always around the Darkness tours. Indeed these shows are amazing but they aren’t the best shows live in my opinion. If you want to check out his best show you need to hit ‘75 at Main Point its staggering. The opening of Incident On 57th Street to Back in the USA is 2.5 hours of utter joy, the early version of Wings for Wheels (Later becoming Thunder Road) is a curious look into the how the song developed into the final version, some really different lyrics once you get past the first verse. To top it off the whole concert is brilliant quality for a bootleg, I’m suprised it was never released into the mainstream album stuff.
There is loads to choose from so pick your Springsteen era and kick back and listen to the tunes for free. The download speeds don’t get any better than this I never get full albums this quick.
