You may have heard about the recent update of Word-press 2.01 codename Ella, It comes with new features and increased security apparently. Never in my life have I had a bad experience in trying to upgrade something. Honestly it was pot luck for the duration of the FTP transfer with fear that everything was lost.
Also you may find there is a problem with RSS and Atom feeds, although there shouldn’t be a problem because hopefully I kept the old generation formats from word-press 2.0.
I’m still working out some quirks for example I can’t enter images and hyperlinks using the GUI anymore so I need to do them by HTML. Which isn’t a real problem just takes more time.
Get used to 2.1, because I cant see myself changing for a long time yet.
