After seeing this article on digg and reading the poor problems Stuart Douglas (via) came across I thought it was time to do some light spring cleaning.
It has been all so easy to hand over my good name to aspiring web (2.0) companies (I blame Arrington). Now when I type in Kyle Mayne into any of the leading search engines I want to see kylemayne.com at top stop and no other rubbish to go along with it.
I graduate next year from university so you never know in the future who will be checking up on you, so its a good idea to be clean. Another point to remember is that if its left alone it isn’t going to delete itself, so make a stand.
In another direction today I created an Easter Card with the pupils while on my placement which was cool, the only thing was that I accidentally left it behind. Oh I was upset, never mind the card war that is going on in Shields town centre shouldn’t make it difficult in getting a cheap Easter card. I think its called the Card Factory on the corner, prices are deadly there, nobody can compete 5 cards for a £1 ludicrous.
Anyway do people send Easter cards or are they things kids are told to make because teachers are busy doing other important things?
