Why the coolest bands in pop are bowing down before Bruce Springsteen - Is an article from the 15th April in the Independent talking about Springsteen and his influence on today’s artists.
The article is a good read, a tad on the lengthy side. None the less it gives you a few interesting points to think about. Like maybe now it is cool to say you are a fan of Springsteen?, Although personally I would have to admit he’s always been cool in my book.
After watching a few good clips from the Springsteen tribute concert I understand what the author says about Craig Finn, so I decided to have a listen to The Hold Steady’s ‘ Boys and Girls in America’. I’ll report back in the next few days with my point of view.
Now time for sleep and more Springsteen in the morning.
