More Rubbish

I got 2 very weird comments today for kylemayne.com;
The secret of a good sermon is to have a good beginning and a good ending, then having the two as close together as possible — George Burns

and
This is my chosen fast: to loosen all the bonds that bind men unfairly, to let the oppressed go free, […]

NYC Wednesday Review

Jon Pareles’ New York Times review of Wednesday’s show begins:
The Madison Square Garden crowd joyfully sang along with Bruce Springsteen, not for the first or last time, on Wednesday night, as he reached the chorus of “Lonesome Day”: “It’s all right, it’s all right, it’s all right, yeah.” That’s what the sound of […]

Waste of time

NSIS, the spyware that took 25 minutes to remove.
Occasionally (3 or 4 times) since the 15th October Firefox has been loading another window in the top left corner. The window must have only been the size of a two pence coin, but very frustrating and non re-sizable. I couldn’t see the content within the window, […]

Cover of Rolling Stone

Well we are big rock singers, we’ve got golden fingers
And we’re loved everywhere we go
We sing about beauty and we sing about truth
At ten thousand dollars a show
We take all kind of pills to give us all kind of thrills
But the thrill we’ve never known
Is the thrill that’ll get you when you get your picture
On […]

Apologies Rolling Stone I wouldn’t be a fan if I didn’t know who’s […]

The Arcade Fire appeared on stage with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Ottawa last night, singing their own song “Keep The Car Running” (from “Neon Bible” album), sandwiched by “State Trooper” (a tour premier) and “Born To Run”.
There were two other tour premiers in Ottawa: “Tougher Than The Rest” and “Backstreets.”

What’s McDonalds going through?

Has the whole ethos changed ?
McDonalds has always been about quick service you get the customers in, then you ship them out, you only had to take notice of the drab uncomfortable plastic seating. But things are looking different for the fast food chain with their restaurants getting a new overhaul with bright eye catching […]

I just bought this

Apologies for the lack of posts over the past few days this is due to me feeling under the weather.
Although this didn’t stop me purchasing;

There’s a whole new range of shirts on fanfire.com (the official Bruce store). I also like the Rosalita t-shirt.

Interaction with public screens - 3rd Dissertation

The description;
Public screens are becoming increasingly common these days - not only in airports and shopping malls but even in pubs and other less formal places. Frequently, these screens are mainly used to broadcast information but for a nomadic user it would nice to be able to use them for other purposes (such as showing […]
