They do make it tempting

After dropping the price by 50 pounds and increasing the specificiation an Apple Macbook does sound tempting but I have my eye on a vaio. (I know its the Mac of the PC world but I want portability, battery life and a good spec).
Waiting till July for Santa Rosa goodness though.

Issue with the Shuffle

I’m loving the new shuffle, you may understand my forthcoming point though.
I have a few songs on my Hard Drive, so when I connect the shuffle to the laptop it randomly syncs roughly 180 songs from about 3000.  So each day I have new songs because I get sick of listening to the same thing day […]

I Have Issues, the Circle is Complete

Recently at work I won the Simply Thank you award for coming to work (just on a weekends mind you) with a broken foot. With the Simply Thank you award you also receive a £25 gift voucher for Argos.
I had nothing else to buy so I ended the collection with an orange shuffle for £24.47 bargain.

Officially On…

Right I have decided the race is now on to buy a new laptop, currently this one is getting quite tedious. I would love one of those really slim line Lenevo IBM Thinkpads but the price is a little out of my reach and the specification could be better. Dell seems like an obvious choice, cheap, […]

The ‘Other Side’ of Apple TV

You have all seen these posts on many different technology websites talking about the glory of Apple TV when really they have all been robbed, by a small turtle neck man with the same powers as God and his ability to put a shine on the blandest of products. This time we are not arguing between good vs […]

Bill Thompson Apple + DRM

Bill Thompson doesn’t particularly like Apple. In his latest BBC News column, he manages to hit a bunch of anti-Apple notes: Apple is over-covered in by the media, Jobs single-handedly stole attention from the Consumer Electronic Show with the iPhone announcement, that Macs are regularly mentioned in the same breath as the PC, the “reality […]

Brooker - “I hate Macs”

On the way to university I had a read over Charlie Brooker’s article in G2 titled “I hate Macs”. Now I haven’t got a problem with a mac, the world would be a boring place if we all had PCs. So arguing between the 2 is pointless because they both have there advantages and disadvantages. […]

Apple Superbowl

So it seems Apple has purchased a commercial for the Superbowl on the 4th Feb. There is a lot of speculation (when isn’t there), on what the announcement is going to be. The more likely subject will be the Beatles on Itunes that is almost certain now after Jobs gave away the spark while showing […]

Apple and 802.11n

Apple to impose 802.11n unlocking fee on Intel Mac owners — Core 2 Duo-based Mac owners who want to unlock next-generation 802.11n wireless technologies hidden inside their computers will first have to fork a few bucks over to Apple, AppleInsider has confirmed.
You can’t help find this amusing you have paid for a nice […]

Killing off the Ipod

With the exciting news today that Apple is releasing the iphone later this year one can’t help to wonder is the Ipod coming to its end of days. I ask the question is there really a need for a separate device, why have 2 when you can have one that does both. I never really […]
