Sounds to me as a good initiative they have got going, I haven’t always been a fan of Ken Livingstone (too fishy), but on this occasion I think its an excellent idea. My grandma has always loved going to London, I wonder what she thinks about living there?

Research has revealed that the cancer is transmitted from one devil to another when tumour cells are transplanted through fighting, biting, and other physical contact. Once afflicted with the cancer, aggressive tumours begin to appear on the face and neck of the devils, restricting their ability to eat. Within approximately three months, the devils succumb to the disease and often die of starvation. The disease has decimated the devil population by nearly 90 percent in certain geographical areas of Tasmania, and officials project that within twenty years the entire species could become extinct.

I was pleased to also read that after much lobbying from the Tasmanian state government in Australia, Warner Bros. decided to assist the fight against extinction. The deal with Warner Bros. allows the Tasmanian Government to manufacture and sell up to 5000 special edition Taz plush toys with all profit going towards funding scientific research into the Devil Facial Tumour Disease.

Lets hope something can be done about this !

Things go from bad to worse for the BBC;

The BBC became embroiled in another row over deception yesterday after it emerged that the button used to set off the Lotto balls is not real.

Viewers watching the draw on BBC1 on Wednesday saw the singer Craig David hesitate as he went to press the red button to release the balls.

Despite his hesitation, the balls dropped into the spinning barrel, raising questions about whether the button was real.

Camelot, which operates the national lottery, said yesterday that the button was just a cue for “a draw master” who set off the balls from behind the scenes. It admitted it had received a “small number” of complaints from viewers.

“Wednesday night’s live Lotto draw took place in the presence of an independent auditor who certified that the draw had been correctly carried out,” he said.

The BBC denied that viewers had been misled, saying it was made clear during every show that the draw master started the draw.

I forgot all about this after been told by Michael a few weeks ago in the County. It wasn’t until I was reading Risk, I came upon the story ;

The Revenue refused to say “on security grounds” whether the information was encrypted. BTW, does anybody have a plausible idea what kind of security grounds that might be?

Maybe it has something to do with Terrorism or Piracy, God knows !

A Briton living in New Zealand in an old car, with a pet possum, has denied he is missing aristocrat Lord Lucan.

Neighbours became convinced homeless Roger Woodgate was the vanished peer because of his “upper-class” English accent and “military bearing”.

This has to be a hoax, for one thing I read his blog and the gentleman mentioned in the article is homeless. Anway I heard Lord Lucan when through thoses doors on Stars In Their Eyes and ended up spending the rest of his days performing as Freddy Mercury in We will Rock You.

But hey I could be wrong.
