Wings On Some Wheels

He attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which.

Celebration To the Simpson’s

The Simpson’s was/is one of the funniest, most clever and most subversive programmes on television, an astonishingly inventive and brilliantly written tumult of irony, satire and, on occasion, life-affirming sincerity. An average episode could pack in more quality gags than most sitcoms manage in a lifetime. There was so much going on in [...]

Cool, They Are Not Cool

Why the coolest bands in pop are bowing down before Bruce Springsteen – Is an article from the 15th April in the Independent talking about Springsteen and his influence on today’s artists.
The article is a good read, a tad on the lengthy side. None the less it gives you a few interesting points to think [...]

Stop the Clock

Today I passed South Shields Town Hall and I noticed that the clock had stopped, or was running quite slowly (I never stood around long enough to check). Lets hope the person in charge quickly solves this problem.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the loss in electricity we had this morning ?

Some Digg Comment

I do like digg, but the comments can sometimes be more amusing than the article;
Own a Wii for a week and you’ll quickly realize visuals don’t matter.I’d rather fuck an attractive girl than stare at a super model.

"I’m still alive!"

As a hard-rocking, frenetic version of “Atlantic City” performed by The Hold Steady wrapped up the “Tribute to the Music of Bruce Springsteen,” a sold-out Carnegie Hall audience was pleasantly surprised as the man to whom 20 artists had previously paid tribute appeared on stage. Benefiting the Music for Youth Initiative of the UJA-Federation [...]

Broken 5th metatarsal

Unfortunately in all my wisdom last night I broke my 5th Metatarsal in my left foot. I’m plastered up at the moment and thinking how amusing the whole night was.Jumping over bollards in a none sober state is definitely the wrong approach to take. WILL I ever learn, NO.
