On this page I have decided to simply the list books I have read, I will write a short description, followed by my brief comments then a rating from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best.
- A Thread Across the Ocean – A Heroic story of the Transatlantic Cable

One man’s ambition in laying the first transatlantic cable in the 1900 century Cyrus Field, with a little help from the Great Eastern.
- Common as Muck – Roy “Chubby” Brown Autobiography

A look at the life of Britain’s most controversial comedian, it takes a deeper look into his past from his family break ups, to him dealing with throat cancer and the many laughs on the way to becoming Roy Chubby Brown. - I Know You Got Soul – Jeremy Clarkson

A typical Clarkson book, entertaining, an interesting look (Clarkson’s Perspective) at a single machine for each chapter (e.g concorde), but overall nothing special and doubt I would read it again.
- Barbarians – Terry Jones

An informative look at the real Barbarians, with the humour of Jones added in, it also goes hand in hand with a BBC series.
- A Piano in the Pyrenees - Tony Hawks

A humorous book telling the tale of buying a home overseas on impulse, I put this book half down a few months ago and just had time to go back to it and I really enjoyed it.
