I’m blown away using Signal on the iPod touch, for the first time in my life I’m considering buying software. The interface for the iPod touch works well, but having Signal is ultimately pointless in my household. Although there is that cool factor of having control of iTunes anywhere in your home.

It would work brilliantly if you held regular house parties.

I like to see Flickr being pulled into other applications, a good example is Tilt Viewer. Have a go, once the the page is loaded right click and make full screen, it looks quite impressive.

I could easily spend hours just clicking the refresh button.

The program is the work of Airtight Interactive who are also working on adding the ability to use Tilt Viewer to search Flickr.

I wonder if they would make the source code available for you to publish your own photo’s in this manner?

Looking at the cool Google Calendar Profile I think I’ll give it ago. I like the idea of having a desktop calendar that updates the information online. Although I’ll see how it goes, I’m skeptical, isn’t just easier to power up the fox ?

I’ve just finished playing with the beta version  of Joost, early indications are good, although I’m still not convinced by the content they have available.

I personally like interface, it seems to work. Although for lower spec computers they may find it quite difficult.

Just remember it’s still in beta.

Technically if its just a SIM card you can remove it and add when you want to use your free minutes and texts to your existing mobile phone. Better still keep it in separate spare phone.

I really like this site ‘What Should I Read Next’, after entering the title of the book you have previously enjoyed it analyses a database of ‘real readers’ and gives you suggestions of future texts to read.
